Office Coordinator

Managed Computer Solutions is a local owned business that has been servicing the Whitsunday area for over 18 years. We are currently looking for a full-time Office Coordinator to work directly with our services arm of the Company. This position directly reports to our Operations Manager and is the cornerstone of our service delivery.

 Secure long term employment, the business has grown rapidly in the last 6 years and allows upwards career movement at all times.

The company has many business arms; Our local retail & workshop repairs located in each of our two office locations, plus our onsite & remote IT support services departments and then in addition there is our managed IT solutions component that services a diverse range of businesses right across Australia providing a VIP level of customer care & support. We also have our own Network Operations Centre (NOC) that oversees our entire client network 24/7. Lastly, but not least we also have our very own Data Centre to host many services to all our clients right across Australia.

This is a non-technical role and involves frequent communication with customers, peers, and vendors. However, it is VERY busy, and your days will go fast. It’s a Salary based position with fixed hours each week m-f. 8:30 – 05:00 to fit a family friendly roster

Tasks and Responsibilities

This is a highly varied role, with the responsibility of providing an outstanding level of service to our valued clients. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet customers both in person & over the phone
  • A high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Be reliable and trustworthy, and take pride in what you do
  • Answer a high volume of calls
  • Coordinate tickets/jobs for our busy helpdesk & tech services
  • Responsible for liasing with other departments for ticket handovers
  • Process all tickets within SLA (agreed repair timeframes) guidelines and follow procedural requirements
  • Track technician movements and liase with clients on ETA’s
  • General administration duties
  • Provide clear information to IT personnel
  • Review tickets for quality control
  • Tracking inventory and special ordering of required equipment
  • The ability to work as part of a team in a diverse, fast-paced environment
  • Critical incident management; initiating call bridges, managing critical incidents
  • Performs other duties as assigned (within an administration aspect)

Requirements

  • Able to obtain a full police check
  • Open drivers license
  • Start within a 2-week time frame, ideally
  • Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions
  • Work full time in Cannonvale HQ, but also be flexible to cover Proserpine as needed. (15km away)
  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
  • Able to hear clearly and speak clearly into a telephone.
  • Close visual work on a computer terminal.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
